Donor-Advised Funds allow donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction and then recommend grants from the fund over time.

“Thanks to the St. Christopher Truckers Development & Relief Fund, we were able to keep our water running, electricity on, and vehicles from being repossessed. In June, I had a heart attack while at a truck stop in Indianapolis. I was rushed into emergency surgery at a nearby heart hospital, and my life was saved after multiple flatlines and 4 inserted stents. I am now going through 6 months of cardiac rehab, and am unable to get behind the wheel of a truck. This has caused our financial situation to become very difficult to handle. More than 70% of the approximately 3.5 million professional truck drivers in the United States suffer from health issues such as obesity, diabetes, sleep disorders, and cardiovascular diseases. We’re on a mission to change that.

We assist over-the-road semi-truck drivers and their families when an illness or injury, occurring within the last year ,took them off the road and caused financial difficulty. We not only provide direct financial aid for truck drivers, but also promote health and wellness programs to prevent and manage prevalent medical conditions within the trucking community.
